Chana Wiley is a mother of four. She has been a part of this movement for 5 years. She joined this group of mothers that have lost their children at the hands of the police because her baby brother was killed by CPD in January of 2017. She was and still is her brother’s keeper. Chana has always worried about her kids and especially her teenage son with police interactions, little did she know it would be her brother Jaron Thomas who just needed help during a mental health crisis that would get hurt and murdered by the ones who take a oath to protect and serve. Chana will continue to stand for what she believes is right and join forces with those pushing to make policy changes, and tear down structures that embody systematic racism.
